Winter river trips are special, but let’s face it, you’re tired of winter and ready for the summer season—fishing, swimming, plowing through Class IV whitewater, tubing, even searching for shark teeth—or any of the hundreds of other ways the public enjoys our national wild and scenic rivers.
We’ll help you plan, if we can, but you really have to reach out to the local managers with trip questions. For example, if you’re headed to the Kern River, figure out who is the land manager for the spot you want to visit (e.g., Sequoia National Forest), and reach out to the forest. We’ve made improvements, and every river has local contact information.
We hope you have a great summer on the river!
